Privacy notice (KVKK)
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Turkish version is the binding text.
This notice was prepared under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK, the “Law”) to inform you about your personal data collected through the Visibility Check tool and the contact form on serhataltunoglu.com.
The quick assessment in the tool runs in your browser. Unless you request the full report and submit the form, your answers do not leave your browser and do not reach me.

Personal data processed
- Identity and contact: full name, email address
- Professional information: your profile type, your website, your LinkedIn profile URL, your quick assessment answers and any notes you add
- Message content: the topic you choose, the company name you enter and your message in the contact form
- Transaction security: submission time and IP address
Purposes of processing
- Preparing the Visibility Check report you requested and sending it to you
- Contacting you about this request and a possible service proposal
- Replying to the message you send through the contact form
- Keeping the form secure against misuse
Only publicly available sources and the information you share are used to prepare the report.
Legal basis and method of collection
Your data is collected electronically when you press the “Send my request” button in the tool or the “Send message” button in the contact form. Under Article 5 of the Law, it is processed on two legal grounds: the processing is directly related to the establishment of a contract, and you have given your explicit consent.
Transfers
Your data is not sold and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Hosting and email service providers are used to deliver and store your request or message, and the servers of these providers may be located outside Türkiye. Transfers abroad are based on the explicit consent you give when you submit the form.
Site visits, cookies and browser storage
This site does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Your browser only stores what the site needs to work: your answer to this notice, your progress in the Visibility Check and, if you have chosen one, your light or dark display preference. This information stays on your device and is not sent to me; you can delete it at any time in your browser settings. The company that hosts the site may keep technical access logs, such as IP address and browser details, for security and to keep the service running.

Retention period
Data related to your request is kept for no more than two years after the purpose of contacting you has ended, and is then deleted. If you ask for it to be deleted before this period ends, your request will be fulfilled.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information about it, to request that it be corrected or deleted, to know the persons to whom it has been transferred, and to object. You can send your requests through the contact form on the site.
